Responsibilities Responsible for operating all routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently. Maintain a high standard of imaging and positioning to acquire a quality scan. Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow. Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluid. Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions. Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the scan. Evaluate MR images for technical quality, exposure, and transmit to PACS. Qualifications Job Requirements Technical or Associate’s radiography degree Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment Active BLS certification Preferred Job Requirements 1-year of MRI Tech experience Advanced certification in MRI
