MR Truck Driver / Yard Hand
Help us deliver like never before  Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic red trucks to deliver for customers? As our MR Truck Driver / Yard Hand at StarTrack in Darra, you’ll be a valued member of the team, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!  This is a full time permanent opportunity with early starts Mon-Fri. Tasks include washing trucks, presenting Contractor and Corporate trucks and working in a small friendly team.


You’ll be  


Washing down and presenting the trucks Completing daily vehicle safety checksDriving our modern trucks between our operational centres  Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups  
About you You’re friendly, an early riser, ready for a 5.30am start, enthusiastic and reliable, and love autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.  
You’ll also need to    Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident  Hold a relevant MR license  Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility  Have effective communication skills  You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights  Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
