Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned MQ Engineer with deep expertise in IBM MQ and MQ Appliances to join a high-performing Middleware team. This role is heavily focused on incident response and production support, with approximately 95% of responsibilities involving ticket resolution through ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will also contribute to system stability initiatives, participate in story execution, and support infrastructure improvements. Key Responsibilities: + Respond to and resolve production incidents related to MQ infrastructure. + Manage and maintain MQ servers and appliances, including configuration and upgrades. + Troubleshoot complex messaging issues across large-scale environments. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance. + Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Required Qualifications: + 6+ years of hands-on experience with IBM MQ (MQ Series). + Proficiency in MQ Appliance configuration and maintenance. + Experience supporting high-volume, enterprise-scale environments. + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in the financial services industry. + Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). + Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $53.50 - $53.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
