**General Laborer/Mover**
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer/ **Mover** to assist with the delivery, staging, and professional installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). This role involves hands-on work in both active construction and healthcare environments, with training provided for technical tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with the delivery, staging, and installation of FF&E.
+ Participate in projects such as head wall installation and managing equipment like sinks, fridges, freezers, and cleaning products.
+ Unload and stage equipment using a pallet jack.
+ Follow site maps, floor plans, cut sheets, and installation drawings.
+ Utilize hand and power tools on site.
+ Comply with all site safety protocols and procedures.
+ Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders.
Essential Skills
+ 1 year of experience in heavy labor or physically demanding roles.
+ **3+ months of moving experience in residential or commercial settings.**
+ Proficiency in moving, wrapping, and preparing furniture and equipment.
+ Skilled in handling large and heavy objects safely and efficiently.
+ Ability to move and position oversized items.
+ Strong attention to detail, especially with high-value or delicate items.
+ Comfortable working in active construction and healthcare environments.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are an asset.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical skills, forklift operation, and assembly experience.
+ Experience with lifting boxes.
+ A positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued over experience.
+ WHIMIS, CSTS, Fall Protection, or other safety certifications are an advantage.

Work Environment
Work at the New St. Paul's Hospital and various commercial sites within the warehouse at our commercial division in Delta. Shifts run from Tuesday to Saturday at the hospital and Monday to Friday at other sites, with expected hours totaling 40 per week, with overtime potential. The dress code includes provided safety gear.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Delta,BC.
