**Position Description**
Reporting to the Supervisor of Customer Support Services, the Move Team Porter will respond to all service requests and work orders associated with the Move Team function. Responsibilities of this position will include delivering seamless service by responding to customer requests associated with event set-ups, office moves and the delivery and pick-up of various types of hospital equipment.
**Shifts:** 7 AM - 11 AM
Although this posting indicates an initial area of assignment and shift, the Hospital reserves the right to assign to other areas of assignment and shifts as deemed necessary including: PGCRL, 525 University, 180 Dundas, Alan Brown, PSC and Hospital site.
**Here's what you'll get to do**
+ Will monitor the quality of the service to ensure customer service needs are being met and responded to on a timely basis.
+ Ensures that safety precautions are being followed at all times.
+ Promotes collaboration and communicates effectively with the Customer Service and Move Team staff to coordinate daily work plans/schedules.
+ Monitors areas of which work was conducted in to ensure there is no debris remaining and that the areas are left to customer satisfaction.
+ Ensures that all work orders and service requests are responded to in a timely manner and that customers are informed of expected timelines to complete the requests and follow up on any unexpected delays.
+ Other duties as required.
**Here's what you'll need**
+ 1 year in a customer service setting with demonstrated customer service experience.
+ Grade 12 or equivalent
+ Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
+ Attention to accuracy and detail is required.
+ Ability to work in a team setting with competing priorities.
+ Understanding and knowledge utilizing various tools such as: equipment lifts, panel truck, dolly(s), various types of power tools, pump truck (manual or electric).
+ View and understanding of floor plans and layouts.
+ Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
