This role calls for a visually-driven editor who can confidently own the full production process-from concept to delivery-with a fresh, modern style and a passion for narrative storytelling.Contract Details: Full-time, 40 hours/week Initial 6-month contract with potential for ongoing assignments Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite Responsibilities: Lead motion design and video editing projects from start to finish. Make independent, strategic creative decisions that elevate storytelling. Craft compelling narratives from raw footage, beyond just assembling clips. Blend strong design sensibility with modern motion graphics techniques. Align visual content with brand tone and audience expectations. Collaborate cross-functionally while also owning projects autonomously. Qualifications: 5-8 years of professional experience in motion design and editing. (However, we're more interested in quality of work than years of experience) Exceptional storytelling instincts and narrative structuring skills. Strong proficiency in both motion graphics and video editing. Ability to bring intention and creativity to every cut. A modern, forward-thinking visual style and thoughtful design approach. Demonstrated ability to own full production responsibilities. A portfolio that showcases dynamic, narrative-rich, and stylistically current work. Experience across a variety of industries is a plus. Portfolio Requirements: Strong examples of narrative editing and motion design. Work that reflects modern aesthetics and thoughtful storytelling.
