Description
A. T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) is seeking a non-exempt, full-time Education Manager on the St. Louis Campus. An Education Manager is responsible for the continued implementation of MOSDOH’s curriculum and assessment for all D3 and D4 courses. Various tasks require advanced coordination skills and the ability to work independently, without being told individual steps to complete tasks. The individual must possess strong organizational skills, have advanced problem solving skills and excellent customer service skills. This position provides support to administrators on an as needed basis. The Education Manager handles and processes confidential information in a professional manner. As such, they provided general office support that contributes to the accomplishment of the goals of MOSDOH. This position reports to the Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Work directly with the Associate Dean to successfully plan, develop, and implement D3 & D4 course and D1 and D2 as needed from start to finish.
+ Coordinate and manage course syllabi.
+ Proctor examinations D3 and D4 examinations
+ Assist in providing instructional design for D3-D4 courses including the set-up and maintenance of the learning management system.
+ Coordinate the exam process for MOSDOH students including exam input/construction, facilitation, and student review sessions.
+ Manage the electronic testing software.
+ Update standard curriculum documents as needed (syllabus template, policies, etc.).
+ Input and track course grades and prepare final grades for D3 & D4 courses.
+ Oversee electronic class schedules for D3 and D4 courses D1 & D2 course if needed.
+ Work with instructors and course directors to obtain materials for all D3 & D4 courses and D1 & D2 course if needed.
+ Assist in the remediation process of students and schedule examination retakes.
+ Assist in the maintenance of teaching schedules of clinical faculty, class schedules for students and classroom schedules etc.
+ Provide administrative support in the areas of interprofessional activities, community outreach activities, and research etc. as needed.
+ Collaborate with other MOSDOH administration/staff to complete projects as assigned.
+ Manage, develop and run reports for assessments with the Assistant Director, Education and Associate Dean, Academic Affairs.
+ Develops and monitors internal rotation schedules for third- and fourth-year students (D3/D4), coordinating with clinical departments to ensure equitable and effective student placement.
Requirements
**Education and Experience**
+ Master's degree is desired or equivalent combination of education experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities are acquired.
+ Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ One to two years experience in a university or health care professional institution is strongly preferred.
+ Prior experience in project management and/or curriculum design/assessment is required.
