Description We are looking for a skilled Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team in Washington Court House, Ohio. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in supporting mortgage operations, ensuring smooth processes from loan origination to application monitoring. This role requires someone detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage industry. Responsibilities: 1. Meets with mortgage loan borrowers on the phone and in person, advising and guiding them throughout the entire loan process. 2. Reviews financial information from all relevant parties. 3. Originates and evaluates mortgage loans according to company guidelines and standards. 4. Submits and monitors the status of applications. 5. Maintains good relationships with members by keeping them informed. 6. Interacts with realtors and sales agents as needed. 7. Other job duties as assigned. Requirements 1. State licensure 2. Track record of successfully originating various types of mortgage loans 3. Experience in mortgage banking, financial advisory services, or mortgage consulting 4. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and sales skills 5. Knowledge of loan origination and servicing software 6. Ability to maintain compliance with financial and lending practices.
