Job Title: Home Loan Specialist – Loan Closing Industry: Financial Services / Mortgage Job Description: The Home Loan Specialist plays a key role in supporting various mortgage channels by ensuring efficient and accurate loan processing. This entry-level position focuses on loan closing and funding, requiring attention to detail, strong administrative skills, and a customer-first mindset. Key Responsibilities: + Perform routine data entry and validation of loan information + Initiate third-party service orders (e.g., title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certification, credit reports) + Review and validate loan documents for accuracy and completeness + Respond to routine customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat + Monitor work queues and take action as needed to maintain workflow + Support loan closing and funding processes + Ensure compliance with TRID regulations and other applicable laws + Collaborate with internal teams to meet service level agreements + Demonstrate alignment with company culture and values Required Skills: + Customer service and communication + Data entry and administrative support + Knowledge of mortgage loan operations + Familiarity with Encompass or similar loan origination systems + Understanding of TRID rules and loan closing procedures Preferred Qualifications: + Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience + Experience in title, closing, or funding within the mortgage industry + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite + General knowledge of federal, state, and local mortgage regulations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
