Apply sales and administrative skills to assist with the follow up and complete memorial orders. Responsible for the life-cycle including sourcing products applying documentation, vendors, designing, delivering, and completion of orders.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Generation
Responsible for attaining completing sales that are secured by third partyDevelop a plan to ensure that sales goals are meet and followed up onConsult with client families on monument materials, quality, dimensions, and design. Provide and review drawings and designs with client family for review, revision, and approval. Provide regular updates to client familiesMaintain professional and trusted relation with internal and external customer.Obtain an understanding of cemeteries rules and processes to ensure that paperwork flow is completed timelyCollaborate with vendor on monument design, features, and family needs. Review drawings and design from manufacturer prior to sending to customer. Following client family approval, process order, obtain and record payments, update electronic record keeping systemsManage vendor delivery and installation, inspecting product upon receipt. Coordinate delivery communication with customerMay present monument product information at local community seminarsVendor Management
Develop professional business relationships with monument vendorsUnderstand vendor product, service, quality, and delivery reputation; negotiate contract; and manage vendor accordinglySource new products and vendors making recommendationsDevelop business relations with Cemeteries to facilitate monument development and family referralsAdministration
Process paperwork to ensure that orders are completed in a timely mannerUse available reports to track order iprocessRun sales reports and submit monthly sale for bonuses through processing channelsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or related discipline strongly desiredLicenses
Obtain and maintain insurance license as required by state/provinceCurrent state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordExperience
At least five (5) years sales experience with a proven record of achieving sales revenue quota and developing leadsCustomer Relationship Management (CRM) systems experience running and analyzing reportsDeath and/or monument industry experience a plusDesign and/or AutoCAD experience a plusKnowledge of memorialization and granite materials/application a plusKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to travel locally within geographic territory requiredAdvanced and demonstrated administrative skillsAvailable to work evenings and weekendsDemonstrated knowledge of sales cycle, sales techniquesAccurate math skillsAbility to think on feet providing options to client familyProficient computer skills including MS office suitePublic speaking skills, professional demeanor and communication skillsProfessional attire required when meeting with clients or representing the companyAbility to lift 50 pounds; push/pull over 50 poundsStrong detail orientation skillsBenefits:
