Apply now. **A Brief Summary of This Position:** This individual contributor position is responsible for identify the developmental needs for all levels of Monterrey Mexico site (Apodaca & Escobedo), decide upon training or experience needed and directly or indirectly, develop and conduct training plan and programs designed to assure a highly successful all employees to accomplish business objectives. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas, including, but not limited to development and training plans/programs, new hire onboarding, facilitating all training programs, managing compliance and safety training, supporting technical skills development, and evaluating training effectiveness. As a member of the HR Team, this role serves on the HR front lines in support of the business. This position contributes directly to building a learning culture and advancing workforce capability across the organization and demonstrate best practices in Human Resources. **Essential Functions:** + Identify skills, training and learning needs assessments in operational, technical, and administrative areas. (TNA) (DNC) + Create and design Development/Training Annual Plan, including key and critical programs, courses and training for all employees of Apodaca and Escobedo site. + Design effective training programs, curriculums (LMS System), workshops and courses materials using corporate templates for all areas. Including manuals, presentations, and evaluations. + Support programs of employee technical skills development (Fitter / Welder Internal School, Quality Inspector, Maintenance and Operational Matrix). + Coordinate all training sessions (internal & External) with employees, vendors and consultants. + Use measurement tools to assess training effectiveness and update KPI´s + Manage the Annual training budget. + Update LMS Valmont System (Valmont University); Create and update curriculums, capture training participation list and follow up expired training employees to complete. + Partner with operations team and administrative departments to ensure completion of on-the-job and computer-based training is completed for new hires, promotions and current employees. + Coordinate, schedule and execute onboarding & On the Job Training Programs for Union and Admin Employees. + Maintain all personnel files including training and other employee-related documents as production employee’s Skills matrix on shop floor. + Responsible of Training the trainers program. **Other Important Details about the Role:** + Meets important deadlines for time-sensitive situations (new hire, and employee on boarding and on the Job Training process, meeting requests, etc.). + Effectively plans, schedules, and delivers training sessions to meet operational and compliance deadlines, including onboarding, and job-specific training. + 100% accuracy in HRIS data entry and employee file document management. + Ensures 100% accuracy in training records and learning management system (LMS) data entry. + Collaborates with department leads and subject matter experts to regularly update training materials and align with operational changes. + Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant workshops, pursuing certifications, and engaging in learning and development networks, as assigned by the HR Manager. + Travel to other Valmont locations may be required to support training initiatives or corporate programs. If you have a disability and require any assistance in filling out the application for employment email EEOCompliance@Valmont.com. **Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):** + Bachelor's degree and one to three years of human resources experience (intern, full-time and/or part-time). + Preferred experience with Develop/Training programs and Experience on Train the trainers programs preferent. + Knowledge and ability to act on Compliance and Regulatory issues. + Strong customer service orientation, communication and presentation skills and a comfort level presenting to groups. + The ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment. + Self-starter and able to work professionally and independently. + Must have a professional and fluent English communication. + Strong business acumen and ability to partner effectively with other teams to solve business needs. + Ability to leverage technology to update all training KPI´s efficiently. + Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools. + Demonstrated ability to build a simple plan and then execute it well within a complex environment. + Self-motivated and able to successfully deliver on all deadlines and flawlessly execute in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent analytical and organization skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a group. + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. **Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:** + Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or HRIS Systems tools (e.g., Workday, Valmont University). + Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. + Demonstrated ability to assess training effectiveness and implement continuous improvement strategies.
