Job Description We are seeking a seasoned Monitoring Solutions Engineer with over 8 years of experience to support and optimize monitoring across a large portfolio of banking applications. This role will be responsible for ensuring that over 130 applications are properly monitored using tools like Dynatrace and Splunk, and for advising Application Integration Teams (AIT) on the best-fit monitoring solutions. This Engineer must have Strong Analytical Skills to interpret monitoring data, identify trends, and proactively detect performance issues before they impact users. This person will be responsible to follow incident response workflows and escalation procedures to quickly resolve monitoring related issues. Skills and Requirements 8+ years of experience in application monitoring, systems engineering, or related roles.  Strong proficiency in Java and a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including CPU performance and resource utilization.  Excellent communication skills with the confidence to proactively engage stakeholders and drive monitoring improvements.  Experience as a subject matter expert in application monitoring, leveraging Dynatrace and Splunk to ensure system health and performance across critical platforms.  Provide hands-on support and guidance to AIT owners, helping them configure and optimize monitoring setups, and recommending appropriate tools based on application architecture. Share how to use Dynatrace effectively and set up custom monitors.  Actively engage with L2 support teams to coordinate upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and ensure monitoring tools are properly maintained and aligned with system changes.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure monitoring strategies align with enterprise standards and performance goals.
