Key Responsibilities:

Leadership capacity in B, M&E developed, especially with M&E Team LeadersSupport Portfolio Manager, AIHSS and STOP TB project teams in the completion of programme and project quarterly and Bi-annual an Annual Project Reports.Close working collaboration with PHA’s Provincial Health Information officers and Consortium PartnersDevelopment and continual improvement of simple B,M&E processes, guidelines and tools to strengthen B,M&E practice led with input and collaboration by Portfolio teams, B,M&E Officers, Technical Leads, Portfolio Managers and Operations stakeholders.Capacity building of technical and operations staff on B,M&E provided and/or facilitated.Data consolidation and meta-analysis of all available data led resulting in the generation of evidence of change at the national level and utilised to refine Technical Programme designs and Area Programme plans.To facilitate learning and reflection to improve B,M&E implementation in WVPNG and influence the organization, SOs and the WVI Partnership on the application of good B,M&E practiceLead the coordination of the semi/annual Area Programme reporting and Quality Assurance processes

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEDegree in Mathematics, Social Work, International or Community Development or similar (preferred)At least 3 years’ experience in design and implementation of M&E in development projectsExperience in design and implementation of M&E systems; including qualitative and quantitative approaches to assessment and monitoring is required.Experience in designing tools and strategies for managing information system, data collection, analysis and production of reportsExperience in SPSS tools/ EPI Info/ any other similar software.Experience in data processing or analysis (Excel, etc.) is required.Experience in analyzing dataDetail oriented and able to verify data.Excellent knowledge of monitoring and application of methodologyDesirable to have experience incorporating gender consideration strategies into monitoring efforts of international development projects;Strong facilitation skillsExcellent communication skills both written and oral in EnglishStrong experience with monitoring and evaluating grant funded projectsProven track record in working with various stakeholders including government
