Mold Quality Technician

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mold Quality Technician to join their team. As a Mold Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Technicians are responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance at all levels.

Job Title: Mold Quality Technician

Location: Chicago Heights, IL

Shift: 6am-2pm

What's the Job?

Performs tests at various stages of the production process to determine whether materials meet prescribed formulas and standards in order to maintain quality and reliability of products. Draws samples to be tested at specified stages in the production process. Sets up and performs standardized tests to determine physical properties. Determines conformity to prescribed formulas and standards, and documents deviations. Collaborates with production teams to implement quality control measures during manufacturing processes.

What's Needed?

Experience in quality control or a related field. Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality tests and inspections. Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve quality issues and non-conformances. Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control. Willingness to participate in internal and external audits.
