As Modelling Lead within our Global Health Economics & Value Assessment team, you’ll help find new, and innovative ways to demonstrate the value of our medicines to payers, providers and patients.
This role reports to the Head of HEVA and works as part of HEVA department of the General Medicines Global Market Access team, developing the evidence to demonstrate the value of our medicines to our internal and external stakeholders.
The HEVA team has a wealth of experience in Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Health Economic Modelling and Real Word Evidence (RWE) and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and is part of a wider community of HEOR-specialists, and is a great place to develop your career.
Main responsibilities:
Experience:
Proven track (at least 5 years) record in HEOR disciplines including data analyses, health economic methodology and decision modeling, medical and statistical scientific methodology, input to clinical trials/observational studies, scientific publication recordExperience in design and successful execution of state-of-the-art modeling techniques (incl. mathematical modeling)Proficiency in statistical programming languages (R, SAS, STATA). Specific experience with building CEA models in R and using related packages (heemod, BCEA, dampack)Experience with health economic modeling and large healthcare datasetsExperience working across several therapeutic areasSoft skills:
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, with attention to detailAbility to communicate technical details to non-expert audiencesStrong customer focus & team spiritProject management experienceEducation:
Master’s Degree in Statistics and/or Health economics (preferred)PhD in Biostatistics, (Pharmaco)epidemiology, Health Economics, or related field is a plusLanguages:
