Job Title: Model Based Systems Engineer
Job Description
This position involves driving systems-level requirements into software development for various military ground vehicle programs. The role demands collaboration with systems-level architecture to develop and break down system-level concepts.
Responsibilities
+ Drive systems-level requirements into software development activities for military ground vehicle programs.
+ Collaborate with systems-level architecture to develop and break down system-level concepts.
+ Utilize Microsoft Visio for basic drawing concepts and create models in CAMEO/MagicDraw.
+ Generate system-level requirements based on customer input and negotiation.
+ Create comprehensive system-level requirements management.
Essential Skills
+ Expert-level knowledge of the SysML system modeling language, including its basic components and rules.
+ Proficiency in creating and understanding system architecture work products such as block diagrams, interface block diagrams, and activity diagrams.
+ Experience in hardware architecture modeling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with DoD standards and requirements.
+ Experience in using CAMEO and MagicDraw for systems architecture.
Work Environment
The role is a hybrid position requiring attendance on-site at the Arsenal in Warren, MI, three days a week. Candidates must be local to collaborate and implement models in the lab. The environment offers great company benefits, a stock program, and flexible hours, with a focus on front-end research and development projects for the US Army.
Job Type & Location
This is a full-time position based out of Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.29 - $76.92/hr.
