You ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company standards to support safe flight operations around the clock.
\n\nControl and maintain the airworthiness of aircraft as well as maintenance and defect control functions.\nAssist in leading activities in the MOC to address or plan technical delays and failures in a timely manner.\nSupervise and guide employees in daily activities.\nResponsible for personnel management and motivation of employees, as well as actively supporting continuous improvement.\nMonitor the availability of equipment and facilities for smooth MOC operations.\nAnalyze and improve processes and procedures to optimize fleet punctuality and costs.\nProcess Technical Delay Reports.\nCommunicate all AOGs (Aircraft on Ground) and delay events, and coordinate with the FOC (Flight Operations Control) and maintenance operations.\nWork closely with the Flight Operation Control Center and the DHL network to improve the flight schedule.\nMonitor and create department-specific performance indicators (KPIs).\nCollaborate with internal and external departments to ensure a high standard of service.\nDevelop strategies to meet the latest industry standards and process improvements.\nReport safety issues to the MOC Manager.\nRepresent the MOC Manager in their absence along with the MOC Duty Manager.\n\nYOUR PROFILE\n\nCompleted degree and several years of relevant professional experience or extensive relevant professional experience as EASA B1 or B2 in aviation.\nExtensive operational and technical background, including knowledge of aircraft maintenance planning.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills (operational and tactical).\nExcellent leadership and management skills.\nStrong abilities in leadership and team building, mentoring, and coaching, along with the ability to promote teamwork.\nDetermination and assertiveness to provide flexible, creative solutions in a complex environment.\nGood IT skills in applications and systems relevant to maintenance activities and airline deployment planning.\nExcellent communication skills in English and German, both written and spoken.\nExperience in Part M and/or Part 145 is desirable.\nKnowledge of airline flight operations control is an advantage.\nGood understanding of financial and economic processes.\n\nOUR OFFER\n\nWorking at a Great Place to Work® for the globally most awarded TOP employer of 2023 in a environment with international colleagues right at the airport.\nCollective agreement-based contract with salary increases every 2 years\nRelief time - of up to 5 additional vacation days\nFlexible working hours from 06:00 till 22:00\nHomeoffice-Option\n\n
