As a Lead Engineer at Salesforce, you will design and develop our mobile platform -- a platform on which the world's leading brands and retailers are building their mobile apps and powering commerce on social media. You will play an integral role in shaping the direction of our product and bringing new features to market.

Salesforce/PredictSpring Mobile Platform Development includes requirements analysis, design of features, implementation for iOS platform, testing, and delivery.


Requirements:

Passion for building user-friendly Mobile apps

Proficiency in Mobile Platforms and tools: Swift,  iOS and related tools

Good communications and documentation skills

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Self Driven and motivated to deliver more with minimal input

A related technical degree required

Experience in Point of Sale is a plus

Responsibilities:

Analyze Brand/Customer needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of new features with the constraints of flexibility, dynamic plug/play design, and performance

Design, develop and modify software by working with Product Managers and VP of Engineering to enable mobile features with the enterprise software goals of performance, ease of use, and User experience

Design the User interface for the mobile application for phones and tablets

Co-Design the server side APIs and data models with the help of backend Java feature teams

Document the APIs, design, and feature documentation for the use by customers, testers, and designers

Implement the design in iOS/Android platform in a fast paced iterative model of development

Test the feature end to end with the backend systems to make sure the feature is fully functional with minimum regression on the existing feature set.

Fix defects in the existing mobile features

Maintain the functionality and backward compatibility of mobile platform features with the new and older versions of platform OSes.

Manage Mobile App distribution for iOS

Automate the testing and write unit tests for the functionality being worked on

Work with customers on educating them on the platform features, designing the customer friendly user experience, and collaborate with designers.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,800 to $276,100.
