**We are looking for a Mobile Security Supervisor to join our Mobile team in the Toronto area. You will have a clean drivers abstract and strong knowledge of the city of Toronto including major intersections, routes and roads across the city including the downtown core. You are someone that enjoys long shifts and working in a variety of sites including cemeteries. You have a knack for providing excellent customer service and desire to respond and resolve incidents at our client sites. You can work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, nights, and weekends. You have at least 1-2 years of Supervisor experience. Mobile Supervisor experience strongly preferred.** **We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.** **The posting will remain open until filled.** **Position Overview:** **Wages: $22.00/hr** **Location: Toronto, ON** **Shift timings: 1000-2200 and 2200-1000hrs Rotational Schedule** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Respond to alarms, security violations/breaches, property damage and trespassers at various sites across the city including banks, technology centres and cemeteries. + Perform safety checks and maintenance of company vehicles. + Log all arrivals and departures and other data promptly. + Respond to vagrants and de-escalate as much as possible, deter trespassers away from the client site. + Ensure security guards are completing their route checks and completion of tasks daily. + Ensure security guards are performing duties in accordance with SOP and Securitas standards. + Participates in and coordinates with District management the orientation, training, development, and retention of high caliber staff; ensures that each staff member is treated with dignity and respect. + Communicates and coordinates with Branch management regarding scheduling, staffing, equipment, record keeping, and related matters, to ensure smooth delivery of services; meets with District management and other Field Supervisors to discuss customer service, initiatives, personnel matters, and related issues. + Patrol assigned areas when required in marked vehicles and stand down at sites when required. + Inspects client sites as assigned to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with post orders; visits client representatives to ensure they remain satisfied with services provided; covers vacant posts as necessary. + Assigns and directs work; coach’s employees and carries out disciplinary actions, as necessary; supports staff as appropriate in carrying out their respective responsibilities; refers problematic issues to District management. + Respond to all emergencies and ensure they are resolved promptly. + Escalate emergencies to law enforcement when required. + Identify and report any security risks or hazards. **QUALIFICATIONS** **:** + Valid Ontario Security License + Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate + G Drivers Licence minimum with a 5-year clean driver abstract. + 1-2 years of mobile security supervisor experienced strongly preferred. + Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response. + Ability to drive-in all-weather conditions and time of day including overnights. + Ability to de-escalate situations and involve law enforcement where necessary. + Strong knowledge of the city of Toronto including streets, routes, highways and the ability to navigate alternate routes to respond faster. + Knowledge of Google Maps or Apple Maps for navigation. **Those selected for an interview will be contacted.** **Further information about the Company:** www.securitas.ca Securitas employees come from all walks of life, bringing with them a variety of distinctive skills and perspectives.
