Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

What this job involves: The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic performs both preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned facilities. This role involves independent work as well as assisting other mechanics with maintenance and repair efforts, conducting inspections of interior and exterior property areas, and maintaining building systems including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting.

Your day-to-day tasks will include: • Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts to maintain optimal system performance

• Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and furniture throughout facilities

• Complete documentation for fire extinguishers and other critical building systems

• Perform plumbing maintenance and repairs including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps

• Prepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general handyman tasks

• Complete special assignments including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general maintenance as assigned

• Prioritize and manage all preventative maintenance, corrective work orders, and emergency repairs (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily)

• Update work order status in real-time using CMMS system and escalate issues to customers and management

• Submit P-card receipts daily and maintain compliance with all safety procedures and local codes

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

• Experience with hand tools and power tools • Proficient in basic computer applications such as MS Office, Outlook, CMMS (Maximo)

• Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing

• High School Diploma or equivalent • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in adverse conditions

• Available for call-in work and capable of working at heights up to 30 ft

Preferred:

• EPA Universal License

• BAS (Building Automation Systems) experience

• Preventive maintenance experience on HVAC equipment
