Mobile Flex Security Officer – Part Time

Rate: $16.00-$18.00/HR

Available shifts for Security Officers will include 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays. Monday to Friday and/or day shift positions are not available.

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Mobile Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, which may include operating a vehicle to patrol. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

The Mobile Officer maintains the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via a motor vehicle. All you need is a valid driver’s license and clean driving history, to be a great fit for this role! 

What Your Day May Look Like:

Conflict resolution and De-escalation.Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.

Position Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required. (All our positions will include driver certification).Have reliable transportation (private transportation is required) (Public transportation is generally not available at our various site locations).Have reliable working communication device (cell phone). Have a High School Diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within six months.Average to above average computer skills.Have the legal right to work in the United States.Ability to speak, read, and write English.Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
