We’re looking for aMobile Equipment Operator 2to join our University of Louisiana at Lafayette team. Mobile Equipment Operators support critical daily operations by safely operating and maintaining various types of equipment used across campus grounds and infrastructure.

One year of experience in mobile equipment operations.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
As a Mobile Equipment Operator 2, you will:
+ Operate mobile equipment such as light tractors, backhoes, dump trucks, and front-end loaders as a primary and recurring function
+ Inspect equipment prior to and after use to ensure operational safety.
+ Perform basic servicing, maintenance, and fueling of assigned equipment
+ Load and unload materials using equipment attachments.
+ Assist with campus maintenance, groundskeeping, and hauling as needed
+ Comply with all safety and operational procedures
+ Support additional facility or site operations as directed
