Join us and build _your_ ambition. **Objective** As a member of the Goodwood location, the Mobile Equipment Operator will operate mobile equipment (wheel loader) to load highway trucks and manage inbound Rubble Pile in accordance with Amrize’s Best Practices and Policies as well as perform all administration related to the equipment’s operation. **Responsibilities** Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a front end loader. Duties will include, but not be limited to; loading highway trucks, maintaining a dump site and feeding the a plant. Safety: + Promote safety culture through engagement with fellow employees and subcontractors. + Implementation and maintenance of local and regional initiatives with an objective of “zero” safety incidents. + Administer and promote safety policies, processes and review procedures to ensure that site meets or exceeds all Amrize and Regulatory guidelines. Environmental Management: + Ensure that site meets or exceeds all Amrize and Regulatory guidelines. + Report and manage environmental spills to site management as they occur. + Operate equipment effectively to minimize carbon footprint of machinery. Equipment: + Ensure assigned equipment is operated and maintained to original equipment manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. Other: + Perform other duties as assigned to assist in the efficient operation of the plant and site. + Perform general housekeeping tasks to ensure the site is presentable. Relationships with Others Jobs + Reports to the Supervisor Specific Accountabilities: + Safety: Near Miss and HI process, MVA’s, FA’s, MI’s, LTI’s, Daily Safety Huddles, Risk Assessments, + Maintenance: daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspection process, prioritize deficiencies as they occur **Qualification Profile** The ideal candidate for this role will be a team player, able to work well independently and have a strong commitment to safety. Experience as a shipping or production loader is a must. Experience with general maintenance and operation of an aggregate site and equipment would be an asset.
