The MnCHOICES Reporting Coordinator serve as the agency expert and strategic leader for all reporting functions within the MnCHOICES application, enterprise-wide policy development, statewide operations, system-level compliance, and strategic planning at both departmental and interagency levels. Responsibilities include: + Drives the life cycle of enterprise-level report development and strategy on MnCHOICES, a comprehensive, web-based system used by counties, tribal nations and managed care organizations to coordinate and deliver a broad range of LTSS services + Conduct research, produce business requirements, and design, build, test, validate, and launch reports in the MnCHOICES application + Independently develop and lead the implementation of complex reporting frameworks, governance standards, and strategic analytical tools that influence budgetary decisions, policy initiatives, operational monitoring and legislative priorities + Coordinate internal and external partners including DHS, MNIT, lead agencies, and MnCHOICES vendor (FEI) to develop methodologies and processes for data and reporting infrastructure and design improvements, including business requirements, data validation and documentation + Develop and provide reports, dashboards, visualizations, and consultation to division leadership within ADSA, other administrations across DHS, and external partners **Minimum Qualifications** 3 years professional experience analyzing and reporting with data; performing data analytics, measurement, advanced statistical techniques, evaluation, and improvement. Experience must include the following: + Experience with Tableau, Microsoft Power BI (or other similar reporting tools) + Experience developing reports and/or querying data warehouse tables + Strong communication skills, for example: + Documenting methods and processes thoroughly to ensure reproducibility and transparency, + Collaborating with technical staff to translate program and policy needs into clear analytical requirements, and + Translating highly technical information clearly to internal and external partners. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science or related field may substitute for 1 year of experience OR Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science or related field may substitute for 2 years of experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience using SQL Syntax + Experience incorporating data into policy recommendations, objectives, and strategic planning initiatives + Experience in developing a data strategy that includes security, storage, and automated reporting + Knowledge of Minnesota Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) programs and policies. + Experience with Minnesota DHS data systems (e.g., MAXIS, MMIS, MnCHOICES, SSIS) + Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and/or cultures **Additional Requirements** To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
