Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. The Public Relations Specialist is responsible for the logistics behind NBCUniversal's Public Relations operations in Brazil and the talent participating in its local productions.  The Specialist must participate in virtual meetings with International Public Relations teams based in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and the USA to learn Public Relations strategies for all networks and Universal+. The specialist must also liaise with the Ad sales team to obtain quotes for talent participation in Ad Sales buys. This position will have the support of one local PR Agency. Responsibilities + Works under the direct supervision of the Public Relations Director and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. + Coordinate talent participation in photoshoots, video shoots, events, press appearances, production meetings, etc. + Compile and maintain KPI data to show ROI in advertising value due to press coverage. + Process business administrative tasks, including payment of suppliers, vendors, etc. + Cultivate and maintain relationships with talent, personal publicists, managers, and agents to facilitate talent participation in original productions, press junkets, talent appearances, and ad sales presentations for NBCUniversal Latin America and Brazil. +  Act as the primary company representative for any talent requests + Coordinate and execute talent asks, including booking car service, travel, hair & makeup, creating itineraries, and ensuring talent needs are met + Accompany and manage talent during all industry activities and events, including Upfront, screenings, affiliate marketing events, and press conferences. + Get the approval of press releases by Network executives, production houses, legal, talent, etc. + Facilitate assets and talking points to the talent so they can promote their shows on social media. + Develop a minute-by-minute agenda and deliver it to the talent for all appearances. + Follow up to make sure all legal documents are approved and signed before talent shoot or influencer participation (releases, contracts, etc + Produce PowerPoint reports with recaps of events, clipping, and campaigns + Facilitate information and assets for our shows to the PR Agency + Make sure the PR Agency has an “always on” plan, with  a story on the press every week. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising or Business preferred. + 4+ years’ experience in public relations, or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Knowledge of traditional and latest public relations techniques + Fluent in Portuguese and ability to communicate in Spanish and English. + Connected and up to date with current media trends. + Understanding of marketing TV brands & programmes. + Proficient in Mac and Windows environments, including experience in PowerPoint, Keynote, Photoshop, and Excel.   Desired Characteristics: + Master’s Degree or an MBA is a plus. + Loves to watch TV, movies, series and realities. + Ideal candidate must be bright, hardworking, organized, and focused. A pro-active individual with the ability to work independently. + Motivated and passionate professional with strong organizational and planning skills who is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to able to communicate effectively and diplomatically between partners, agencies, clients and internal NBCU cross-functional teams. + Must be a team player who is able to work in an open and collaborative environment. + A let’s do it, and problem solver attitude is a must + Ability to work with confidential material. + Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
