As a Mixologist Supervisor at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, you will lead the bar operations by curating exceptional beverage experiences, crafting innovative cocktails, and ensuring the highest levels of service and hospitality are consistently delivered. You will be responsible for training and mentoring bartenders, managing bar inventory, and working closely with the F&B leadership to develop beverage concepts that reflect the luxury positioning of Waldorf Astoria and the unique island setting.
\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n\nLead daily bar operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and personalized service at all times.
\n\n\nDevelop, innovate, and execute creative cocktail menus and signature beverage concepts in line with Waldorf Astoria brand standards and guest preferences.
\n\n\nProvide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to bartenders and bar attendants, enhancing product knowledge, mixology skills, and service techniques.
\n\n\nEnsure all beverages are prepared according to standard recipes, presentation guidelines, and hygiene standards.
\n\n\nMonitor guest feedback, proactively address concerns, and continuously elevate the guest experience.
\n\n\nManage bar inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to control costs and ensure product availability.
\n\n\nMaintain strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as responsible service of alcohol laws.
\n\n\nWork collaboratively with the F&B leadership team to plan promotions, events, and special cocktail experiences.
\n\n\nFoster a positive, team-oriented work environment and maintain excellent interdepartmental relationships.
\n\n\nOversee cash handling procedures, daily reports, and reconciliation of bar revenue.
\n\n\nStay current with global beverage trends, techniques, and industry developments.
\n\n\nQualifications & Requirements:\n\n\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in a senior bartender or mixologist role, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end hospitality environment.
\n\n\nStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
\n\n\nProven ability to develop creative, trend-forward beverage menus and concepts.
\n\n\nCertification in Mixology, Bar Management, or related qualifications preferred.
\n\n\nIn-depth knowledge of premium spirits, wines, cocktails, and bar operations.
\n\n\nExceptional guest service skills with a passion for crafting memorable experiences.
\n\n\nAbility to work in a remote island environment and adapt to a diverse, multicultural team.
\n\n\nFluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
\n\n\nWillingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
