POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mixologist is responsible in completing all assigned tasks with the highest level of quality. They deliver products and services, exhibit guest relations through knowledge and experience in accordance with the vision, values, and objectives of the Company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares and assembles orders in sequence, with the right techniques and makes quality checks before service, ensuring City of Dreams Mediterranean standards.Ensures that all products and services are delivered accurately and in a timely mannerAssists in waiter, host, cashier, or steward tasks if requested by the Outlet SupervisorExhibits a thorough understanding of all related services and products and the ability to recommend and upsell alternatives.Prepares cocktails with accordance to international standards while maintaining all HACCP policies.Understands the Assigned Outlets’ concept and service standard, the product knowledge and the management policy orientationProvides personalized service to Guests by understanding their needs and personal tasteParticipates in the selection of products, suggesting and assisting in the design of Wine and beverage menusActively seeks feedback and liaises with GuestsHandles guest complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorilyHolds a thorough knowledge of the casino and hotel layout in order to ensure that guest queries can be answered or referred promptlyAttends training sessions and meetings when requiredKeeps the Outlet and working stations clean and organized, both at the front as well as the heart of houseMaintains back up supplies stock for the daily operations and anticipates busy demands by reporting any shortagesAssists with monthly inventory checks on all bar operating equipment and suppliesAnticipates guests’ need and strives to exceed their expectationsRecognizes, welcomes the guests, smiles, and maintains visual contact with every patron, greets all regular customers by name.Ensures high standards of personal presentation and groomingAttends training sessions and meetings as and when requiredAdheres to all Company policies and proceduresReport’s accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisorsCarries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors due to business requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mixologist or similar, preferably in the Hotel industry
 

Education

High School diplomaQualifications from a Bar tending school or similar is an advantageDiploma in Hospitality Management or similar is an advantage
 

Skills

Knowledge of Bar related products, practices, and equipmentExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsPossesses strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent command of English, Greek and other languages are highly regarded
