**Job Title: Mix and Blend Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a Mix and Blend Operator to join our team. This role involves working various shifts, including front and back half days and nights, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of filling machines, and adhering to food safety and quality protocols. **Responsibilities** + Set up, operate, and maintain filling machines. + Perform and record quality checks to ensure shelf-life integrity and package quality. + Conduct nominal maintenance on equipment. + Execute and document Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures and in-process sanitation on equipment and area as needed. + Ensure adherence to food safety and quality protocols. + Follow all Safety and GMP regulations at all times. + Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, and gloves. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience working in a food manufacturing or GMP environment. + Good attention to detail. + Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts. + Ability to lift 50-55 lbs regularly. + Strong interpersonal communication skills, including proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. + Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Ability to read charts and monitors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to multitask. + Ability to push up to 300 pounds and pull up to 500 pounds with mechanical assistance. + Capability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently. + Strong interpersonal communication skills, including proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. **Why Work Here?** Employees will receive a monthly bonus of $1000 for every month they are employed until the plant shutdown in July of 2026. This offers a substantial financial incentive for consistent employment. **Work Environment** The role is set in a fast-paced food production environment, monitoring the packaging line and products coming out of the packaging machine. The environment may have strong odors and requires standing for 12+ hours. Steel toe boots are required for all production and warehouse positions. **Shifts:** Front Half Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Wednesday 6am-6:30pm Back Half Days: Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6am-6:30pm Front Half Nights: Every other Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6pm-6:30am Back Half Nights: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday 6pm-6:30am **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
