Mission Control Patient Transport - PRN
Mission Control (Patient Transport) I _Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together_ **Work Location:** Texas Health Denton, 3000 North I-35, Denton TX 76244 **Work Hours:** PRN (as needed); Must be available weekends and have weekday flexibility **Department Highlights:** + Gain a sense of accomplishment by contributing to a teamwork environment. + Receive excellent mentorship, comprehensive training and dedicated leadership resources. + Enjoy opportunities for growth. **Here’s What You Need:** · High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred · 6 Months Related Experience Preferred · 6 Months Customer Service Preferred · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required **Skills** · Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude. · Excellent verbal communication. · Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. · Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful. · Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management. **What You Will Do:** · **Transports patients** by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas. · **Deliver and pick up** patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital. · **Maintain par levels** and cleans equipment in designated areas. · **Act as central dispatcher** for Mission Control department. · **Monitors systems:** RTLS, security cameras, HUGS, fire panel, generator annunciator, medical gas, and other systems associated with patient and materials movement. · **Secures necessary maintenance** and repair of equipment and maintains adequate stock levels of supplies.
