We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives. 

 

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed,  

Mission Command/Blue Force Tracker Lead, Senior.  This position is in support of the USAREUR-AF Mission Partner JRMC, located in Hohenfels, Germany.  This position is located OCONUS. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Supports Blue Force Tracker (BFT) component management for JMRC rotational exercises 

Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures to maintain, install, configure, relocate, de-install, test, and activate BFT in training vehicles, physical locations, or other identified points 

Supports management and tracking of BFT assets 

Supports BFT modernization activities, including documenting design specifications, and maintains a standard set of engineering site-specific as-built drawings of the BFT components and vehicle plans depicting the locations of BFT equipment, interconnect diagrams, and systems diagrams 

Performs quality control in accordance with the Quality Assurance and Test Plan to ensure full operations capability of the BFT systems 

Functions as an expert in BFT systems and their installation and operation 

Operates with appreciable latitude and may perform the BFT activities independently as needed 

Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments 

Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments 

May supervise others  

 

Qualifications: 

Required:  

Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and have the ability to maintain 

BA/BS +8-12 years recent experience 

Certification – 8140 - FITSP-O or GICSP or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CISA or SSCP 

Demonstrates extensive expertise in Blue Force Tracker systems, preferably including installation, configuration, maintenance, and operations for JMRC rotational exercises.  

Possesses comprehensive knowledge of military training exercises and BFT component management.  

Exhibits strong technical skills in documenting design specifications, creating engineering drawings, and performing quality control for BFT systems.  

Displays proficiency in asset tracking, modernization activities, and relocating, de-installing, testing, and activating BFT in vehicles and other locations.  

Showcases ability to operate with appreciable latitude and function as a technical expert across multiple projects.  

Preferably, has experience in military or defense-related technology implementations, with a background in vehicle-based tracking systems and communications equipment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$57,000 - 116,800 USD
