Summary You will serve as a MIRC OPERATIONS MANAGER in the Commander Naval Forces Marianas of COMMANDER NAVAL FORCES MARIANAS. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the coordination, scheduling and execution of all military, and in certain cases civilian, subsurface, surface, and airborne platforms operating within or transiting to and from the Mariana Islands Training and Testing You will be directly responsible for the management of the MIRC Operations Department’s exercise planning, coordination, prioritization and de-confliction of scheduling for land, sea, undersea, and aviation operations. You will Plans assignments to be accomplished by subordinates and sets and adjust short-term priorities. You will develop organizational structure to include staffing, equipment requirements, internal alignment, and delegation of authority. You will be recognized as the subject matter expert (SME) for all issues regarding the scheduling and real time operations execution of the OPAREAs within MIRC Operations’ area of responsibility. You will directs and carry out all aspects of the planning management and execution of future and daily operations utilizing available and applicable resources of the Operations Department staff. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing people and programs to include exercise planning, aviation/airspace, range scheduling management experience and serving as a squadron, ship or staff operations officer.
