The team is responsible for managing and coordinating the state supervision, implementation, performance and technical support of all aspects of the MFIP and the Diversionary Work Programs (DWP). This team is responsible for developing, implementing, communicating and clarifying new and existing program policies and procedures to county, tribal, and employment services agencies. Experience must demonstrate: + Experience working with Tribal Nations + Researching, analyzing and communicating complex policies or laws + Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations, state statutes, and policies related to public policy + Applying and accessing information from data and information management systems including MAXIS and WorkforceOne or similar program A bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Public Policy, Psychology, Native American Studies or related field may substitute for one year of experience. A master's degree may substitute for two years of experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + Extensive experience with public assistance programs and relevant state and federal laws + Experience leading policy implementation initiatives and projects + Experience working with County and/or Tribal organizations + Excellent skills in written and oral communication + Bachelor's or master’s degree in public policy, public administration, health policy, law, or related field + Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures **Additional Requirements** REFERENCE/BACKGROUND CHECKS – DCYF will conduct reference checks to verify job-related credentials and a criminal background check prior to appointment.
