Essential Responsibilities:
Accurately and timely generate all administrative data for operations, including equipment and personnel time sheets, logbooks, daily diaries, and production reportsEnsure full compliance with Ledcor’s Health, Safety & Environment manuals, policies, procedures, client-specific requirements, and MSHA regulationsProactively support Ledcor’s commitment to operating safely and achieving zero accidents or incidentsCoordinate and communicate with others to ensure proper sequencing of operationsLiaise with the Blasting Supervisor regarding blast timings, equipment and personnel movement, roadblocks, and other related matters; participate in developing short-term mining and blast plansEnsure ongoing maintenance of haul roads to agreed standardsQualifications:
5-8 years of experience in mine operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory roleDemonstrated ability to take initiative and work independentlyGood understanding of the capabilities and limitations of various open-pit mining equipmentStrong planning, organizational, and communication skillsStrong computer skillsCurrent MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred (training will be provided if necessary)
