**Key Responsibilities:**

 

- Oversee all aspects of mining operations, including production, safety, environmental compliance, and resource management.

- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and optimize resource extraction.

- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company safety standards and protocols.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, geology, and maintenance, to enhance operational performance.

- Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and reports related to mining operations.

- Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to meet production targets.

- Engage with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and the local community, to maintain positive relationships and facilitate operational success.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mining operations, with at least  5 years in a managerial role.

- Proven track record of managing complex mining operations and delivering results.

- Strong knowledge of mining regulations, safety standards, and environmental practices.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in mining software and technology.
