Mine Maintenance (Shaft) Planner - (Allan, Saskatchewan, Canada)

 

This position reports to the Shaft General Foreman.

 

This position is located in Allan, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.

 

What you will do:

Create and maintain accurate specifications, bills of material, records and histories for shaft related equipment Plan and schedule shaft maintenance resources and activities aligned with site operational and company objectives. Support shaft warehouse inventory management and assist with stock evaluations. Manage and maintain systems to track hoist KPI’s Develop and manage preventive maintenance routines and shutdown plans. Carry out duties following Nutrien safety principles and priorities Actively promote and engage in continuous improvement of shaft and hoist processes Maintain knowledge of and comply with the site Collective Bargaining Agreement, Company Policies and Procedures, and laws and regulations Collaboratively work with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering and Planning teams to develop, support, and accomplish personal, team, and site goals and targets Support coordination and supervision of service provider activities as required Provide relief shaft supervision and perform other duties as assigned

 

What you will bring:

5+ years of industry experience of which several were spent in the shaft area Journeyperson, Related Technical diploma, or Engineering degree would be considered an asset Knowledge of shaft and hoisting systems and maintenance Good understanding of mining operations. Training in maintenance and reliability would be considered an asset Complex decision-making abilities Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills Desire to continue expanding knowledge and support continuous improvement Collaborative and Team-Driven Excellent computer skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with EAM and Viziya software systems is an asset High level of professionalism Underground Supervisor ticket or ability to acquire the ticket
