Join us and build _your_ ambition. **ABOUT THE ROLE** Amrize Canada is seeking a ticketed Millwright to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the facility. **WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH** + Act as a safety leader by demonstrating strong personal safety behavior, reinforcing good safety practices, and addressing safety concerns. + Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques to resolve problems efficiently. + Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to carry out installation, maintenance, and repairs effectively. + Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. + Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production personnel to troubleshoot complex problems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** **Education:** Industrial Mechanic/Millwright **Additional Education Preferred:** Millwright, Mechanical Systems, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. **Work Experience** : Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. **Required Training/Certifications:** knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, combustion systems, and pneumatic, as well as a basic understanding of automation strategies. **Additional Requirements:** + Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. + Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial mechanical components, including motors, belt conveyors, augers, compressors, blowers, valves, and pipes. + Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques to resolve problems efficiently. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing demands. + Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and standing for extended periods. + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
