What You'll Be Doing

Operate milling machine for asphalt and concrete pavement removal in highway and heavy construction settings

Coordinate with foreman and ground crew to execute precise milling per project specs

Perform basic maintenance and safety checks on equipment before and after shifts

Adjust cutting depth and speed settings for optimal material removal and site safety

Maintain awareness of surroundings, traffic control, and team communication to ensure safe operations

What Are We Looking For

Proven ability to safely operate milling machinery in construction environments

Familiarity with machine controls, grade control systems, and mechanical procedures

Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and communication

Capability to work long hours in variable outdoor conditions

Responsiveness to project timelines and flexibility to travel between job sites

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
