Hourly rate $18.50 - $21 DOE
Ability to work overtime during the week and Saturdays as needed

RESPONSIBILITY:
+ Set up and operate milling machines to mill surfaces on metal work pieces.
JOB DUTIES:
+ Verify that lot cards have all previous operations signed off.
+ Select and load cutters in spindle collet.
+ Sets cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut.
+ Verifies dimensions of milled work pieces using various measuring instruments.
+ Load programs.
+ Bring gondolas from rack to machine and wash.
+ Maintains proper fluid levels and coolant flow.
+ Ensure work is completed according to schedule.
+ Cleans machine daily and keeps work area orderly.
+ Performs preventative maintenance as required.

EDUCATION &/ OR EXPERIENCE:
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
+ Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
+ Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to read and interpret “G code” and/or blueprints.
+ Ability to read calipers, micrometers, and height gages.
+ Past CNC milling experience and operating a fork truck a plus.
