Mill Assembly Technician

Day shift 6am – 2:30pm

$19-21 DOE 

Are you a detail-oriented, hands-on problem solver with strong communication skills? A local manufacturing facility is looking for a Mill Assembly Technician to join their team. This position involves learning complex product assembly with the potential to grow into a leadership role within the department. If you’re a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a team environment, this could be a great fit for you.

Responsibilities:

Assemble a variety of subassemblies and final products according to schedule Work closely with co-workers, supervisors, engineers, and sales to ensure quality and workflow Maintain accurate inventory and organized materials in the assembly area Help create and document work instructions as needed Identify and solve issues to improve processes and output Support flow across multiple assembly departments Focus on delivering high-quality finished products that exceed customer expectations

Requirements:

Strong communication skills—must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable with reliable attendance Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and work well independently and as part of a team Comfortable using PCs and tablets for documentation and communication Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maneuvering around equipment Previous assembly experience preferred but not required—willing to train the right candidate
