Military & Veteran Recruiter / Program Manager

Curtiss-Wright is looking for an experienced Contract Military & Veteran Recruiter / Program Manager to create, launch, and scale Curtiss-Wright’s DoD SkillBridge initiative across North America. This strategic role will be responsible for building partnerships with military bases, shaping program design, identifying internal opportunities for SkillBridge candidates, managing the end-to-end recruiting pipeline, and serving as the primary point of contact for military partners and participants.

Your Challenge:

Program Development & Management

- Partner internally & externally to obtain and maintain DoD approval and full compliance for SkillBridge launch including full reporting and documentation.

- Design, launch, and manage Curtiss-Wright’s SkillBridge initiative across the United States.

- Develop internal training and toolkits for Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers and HR Partners.

Partnership Development

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with military base transition offices, education centers, and DoD SkillBridge program offices.

- Represent Curtiss-Wright at veteran hiring events, military job fairs, and transition assistance programs.

Recruitment & Talent Pipeline

- Source, screen, and match eligible service members to appropriate internship opportunities aligned with Curtiss-Wright’s hiring needs.

- Manage the full lifecycle recruitment process for SkillBridge interns with the goal of post-program employment.

- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline of transitioning military talent.

Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

- Track program KPIs including placement rates, conversion to full-time, and participant satisfaction.

- Provide regular reporting to leadership and suggest improvements to enhance program outcomes.

What You Bring:

US Citizen

5+ years of experience in military recruiting, program management, or related field.

Deep understanding of the military transition process and DoD SkillBridge Program.

Ability to travel as needed up to 50%

Proven experience building or scaling workforce development or veteran programs.

Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred:

Military service or direct experience working with transitioning service members.

Prior experience in defense, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.

Familiarity with ATS platforms (Workday preferred) and military job translators
