Serco is seeking a Military Training Manager 2 – Site Manager to join our team at Fort Leavenworth in support of the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). This role leads a diverse team of professionals supporting mission command training operations and provides on-site leadership to ensure successful execution of training and technical missions.

 

In this role, you will:

Manage all Northrop Grumman and subcontractor personnel at the site performing under the Task Order (TO).Oversee regional scheduling, resource coordination, training delivery, property management, logistics, personnel administration, and continuing education for contractor staff.Collaborate with the TO Manager and Mission Training Complex (MTC) Director to support all training and technical requirements.Act as the primary technical point of contact with the MTC Director.Supervise all contractor employees assigned to the MTC.Represent the company on all matters related to TO operations at the Camp Atterbury site.Ensure availability for coordination with the MTC Commander during normal business hours and on-call status during extended or 24-hour operations. Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of supervisory experience; ORMaster’s degree with at least 8 years of supervisory experience.Experience in military training, logistics, property management, division-level operations, and training support.Background in Army MCTSP and training management.Prior service as a battalion or brigade commander, or command operations staff officer (S3).Completion of CGSC, ILE/MEL 4, Senior Service College, or equivalent military/DoD civilian education.Active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.Ability to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Strong leadership skills and experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex military training operations.Ability to operate independently while collaborating with military leadership.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Additional desired experience and skills:

Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.At least 3 years of experience working in Army Mission Training Complex (MTC) environments.
