We’re looking for a Middleware Operations Engineer to join our Global Operations Command Center team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to start and stop middleware applications, servers, and services
Position Responsibilities:
Performing Health Checks for all Middleware applications.Provide User Support Services (create and track user requests in ServiceNOW, update existing ServiceNOW tickets, Keep ServiceNOW Queue Management Dashboard updated, Produce weekly status updates with other Business Units, peers, IS Managers, Directors, and AVPs.)Proactive ownership of incidents-issues until resolution, logging and tracking identified system problems through resolution.Building effective working relationships with internal and external resources, technology vendors and outsourcing service providers and Interfaces with IS groups and strategic vendor partnersRequired Qualifications:
At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT Role/Service OperationsBasic knowledge on Monitoring, Alerting, and Observability Concepts and Technologies and on IT Incident Management processKnowledge of Bash/Shell, Jython/Jacl scripting is advantage. Experience or familiarity with at least one of these is preferred: Service NOW,ITSM, xMatters, New Relic, MoogsoftBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldsRelevant certifications such as Azure Certified Data Fundamentals or equivalent are preferred.Preferred Qualifications:
A proactive and detail-oriented individual.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with team members and stakeholders.Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and open to learning new technologies.Full onsite; flexible shiftWhen you join our team:
