We are seeking a highly skilled Systems/Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in Business Automation Workflow (BAW) or Operational Service Management (OSM) to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux system administration, DevOps practices, and infrastructure management, with a focus on performance tuning, security, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain BAW or OSM systems.
• Perform infrastructure maintenance, performance tuning, and security hardening.
• Handle service requests, defects, and tickets in a timely manner.
• Manage configuration changes and alert systems effectively.
• Utilize DevOps tools such as Jenkins and UDeploy for streamlined operations.
• Coordinate environment patching and SSL certificate renewals.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Monitor systems using logging and monitoring tools to ensure high availability.
• Support development tooling such as Jenkins and GitLab
• Ensure robust infrastructure design, provisioning, and management.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in IT as a Systems/Infrastructure Engineer.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting and managing RedHat operating systems.
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills, with expertise in performance tuning, security hardening, and high availability.
• Proven experience with logging and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in managing and deploying development tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
• Strong understanding of SSL certificates, load balancing, and TLS.
• Linux scripting skills and at least one high-level language (e.g., Python or Ruby).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to business and executive staff.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
• Highly innovative, flexible, and self-directed with a demonstrated ability to adapt quickly.
