We’re looking for an experienced editor to join our team, based in either Istanbul, Dubai or Cairo. This is a unique opportunity to craft high-impact journalism at the intersection of markets, finance, politics, and economics. The main focus will be Turkey, but you’ll also work on other stories across the Middle East and North Africa. You’ll work closely with reporters to refine story ideas, structure narratives and elevate writing across a range of formats, from breaking news to long-form features. **We’ll trust you to:** + Edit stories across markets, finance, business, economics and politics + Collaborate with reporters to develop and execute ideas + Help lead and shape enterprise projects, especially those focused on Turkey + Translate complex topics into accessible journalism for a global business audience **You’ll need to have:** + Five years or more in journalism, with experience as an editor + The ability to deliver accurate and compelling copy to deadline + A collaborative mentality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global newsroom **We'd love to see:** + Native-level fluency in written and spoken English; Turkish, Arabic or Farsi an advantage Life at Bloomberg is many things, but it’s never dull.
