What You'll Do

As the Middle East Career Development (CD) Operations Senior Specialist/Manager, you report into the Career Development Senior Manager and work in close partnership with the Talent Management Team, the wider HR team, the regional CD team, and other local Business Support functions.

You are responsible for leading the CD Operations team and driving the day-to-day operations that support the career development of consulting staff across the region.

Your role requires strong coordination skills, leadership capability, and the ability to deliver high-quality support while working closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the CD Operations team, ensuring roles and tasks are clearly defined, appropriately delegated, and executed efficiently in line with quality and time expectations.Own the management of the offshore CD Operations team, providing structure, accountability, and consistent communication to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with regional expectations.Build and maintain strong alignment with HR Shared Services Management, ensuring that operational processes are scalable, consistent, and continuously optimized.Oversee the end-to-end CD processes for senior consulting cohorts, including the preparation and follow-up of career development meetings, bonus processes, and promotion reviews, in close coordination with Career Advisors and the CD Committee Chairs.Collaborate with the Talent Managers supporting preparation and executing CD Committees for the A, SA and C cohorts, maintaining BCG’s high standards throughout.Plays a key role in shaping and evolving CD strategy by identifying gaps and recommending forward-looking improvements. Lead and support strategic talent initiatives such as Women@BCG, MBA Sponsorship, and other regional or global projects and benchmarks, ensuring alignment with firm priorities and promoting diversity, equity, and career advancement opportunities across the consulting cohort.Recognized internally as a subject matter expert in CD operations, bringing deep knowledge of BCG systems, policies, and career development processes. Identify, design, and implement process improvements, automating manual workflows where possible and updating templates, tools, and playbooks to improve efficiency and accuracy.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to employee data, review documentation, and promotion protocolsMentor and coach junior operations team members, providing ongoing feedback, development opportunities, and support for professional growth.

What You'll Bring

Relevant bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of experience in Performance Management, front-facing HR roles.Strong service orientation and responsiveness to requests, with the ability to handle multiple qualitative tasks with excellent communication skillsResourcefulness and high attention to detail; creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.Ability to work effectively under pressure, in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.Positive attitude and a proactive approach to employee developmentAbility to respect all BCG information as personal and confidential You bring sharp expertise in AI, Deckster, ChatGPT, Slack and cutting-edge innovation tools to drive smarter, faster ways of working

You will work in the bigger Talent and Performance Management Team and work closely with Middle East Career Development Senior Manager. The team fosters a collaborative environment where members support each other and share knowledge to drive success.
