Belay Technologies is seeking a Usability/Human Factors Engineer (UXE) to join our intel team. The UX team collaborates with developers, managers, and system engineers to ensure intelligence products remain modern, cutting-edge, and highly usable. The team researches and documents user workflows, designs intuitive front-end systems, creates mockups, engages with users for feedback, and works closely with multiple development teams to enhance analyst tools. The team uses tools such as, PenPot, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

TS/SCI with polygraph is required. 10 years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related field)

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

Experience working with system end users by creating user surveys and organizing focus groups to obtain user feedbackExperience working closely with application developers, including product designers and process engineers, to create user interface design specificationsExperience creating user surveys and organizing focus groups to obtain feedback from system end usersExperience researching and documenting user requirements including profiles, frequent tasks, workflows, and user scenarios to make strategic modificationsExperience directing/conducting usability testing while collaborating with the application design teamProficiency in one or more design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, XD, and PenPot

Desired Skills:

Salary Range: $105,000 to $200,000
