What we look for?
For our specialized team Santander UK - Digital, we are looking for a Mid/ Senior Developer, with at least 4 years of experience in the position.
Job responsibilities:
As Frontend Developer with knowledge in Angular, React and AWS you will be responsible for programming functionalities, including automated integrated testing in the code, as well as providing operational support for existing applications always based on a Continuous Integration and continuous development view.
Confident with GIT object model, branching and pull-request workflow.
Experience with github repository management, npm packaging and versioning.
Experience with AWS SAM configuration and deployment pipelines.
The candidate will be part of a Development Team using Scrum with the responsibility of develop RESTful APIs and front end using modern JavaScript using Angular framework.
What do we expect from you?
• Extensive knowledge of working with distributed infrastructure systems and client-server architectures.
• Good working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarized with agile framework and tools (Jira, Confluence, Git) and scrum / Kanban methodology
• Modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• CSS and CSS pre-processors
• Experience of TypeScript, Node JS, npm
• Familiarized with Domain Driven Design, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience with Jenkins, Openshift, Terraform,
• Experience in AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Serverless, DynamoDB and other AWS services.
Nice to have:
• Previous experience working with virtual assistants (chatbots) and GenAI models.
