While in this role, you will work in a team environment and analyze, underwrite, and present credit recommendations on Commercial loan requests and/or modifications. Furthermore, your analysis will include in-depth review of financial statements, tax returns and relevant credit information. Primary responsibilities include

Responsible for proactive credit and risk administration of assigned portfolio accounts.Responsible for structuring, underwriting, and documenting new business, renewals and modifications as the credit expert within the first line of defense.Provides client management support for assigned portfolio.Direct client interaction on standard credit and risk follow-up issues.Actively engages with relationship managers on progress, issues, and challenges regarding a particular customer relationship or portfolio concern.Handles multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and schedules associated with maintaining portfolio and compliance with credit and risk policies.Manages moderately complex credits.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or formal credit training preferred.3–5 years of experience in commercial credit underwriting, portfolio management, or related financial analysis roles.Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, tax return interpretation, and credit risk assessment.Proven ability to structure, underwrite, and document commercial credit transactions, including new business, renewals, and modifications.Familiarity with bank credit policies, risk rating systems, and regulatory requirements.Demonstrated experience managing a moderately complex credit portfolio, including direct client interaction and issue resolution.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with relationship managers and internal stakeholders.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credit analysis tools or platforms.
