As a **Mid-Market Sales Manager** for Multifamily Marketing, you will be responsible for delivering frontline sales results through customer interaction and employee satisfaction. The Mid-Market Sales Manager is responsible for growing and developing their assigned region’s revenue by selling new advertising and info subscriptions on Apartments.com to new customers, growing existing customer revenue and ensuring high levels of customer service and high renewal rates. All new Sales Managers receive extensive classroom and field training, ensuring they are equipped with the product and industry knowledge needed to build market credibility, proudly represent our brand, and achieve career success. In addition, you will learn marketable skills in digital marketing and sales from working closely with talented and driven internal industry experts, product marketing and product management specialists. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Perform complex operational analytics to ensure market strategies are met for the mid-market sales team + Perform complex tasks involving the coaching, counseling, and leading of the mid-market sales team + Ensure adherence to established procedures and guidelines + Work with peers on the mid-market sales team, coordinate with field sales team representatives and managers, and team with training and other sales support functions + Ensure that all team members and the overall team achieves all assigned revenue goals + Provide feedback to management and recommend changes and modifications to established procedures & guidelines + Serve as liaison between training, sales management, field sales and mid-market sales teams and other sales support functions + Ensure frontline sales results + Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction ratings + Develop and communicate annual sales plans in support of the organizational strategy and objectives + Manage the identification, prioritization and winning of new client relationships as well as the retention and growth of our current clients while getting to know all of the assigned markets and territories **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (For External Applicants)** + Three or more years of recent successful experience in high transaction sales environment while meeting and exceeding quota + Three or more years of experience mentoring, coaching, or managing teams of sales professionals + Experience participating in building and hiring of a sales team + Proficiency in Excel + Demonstrated leadership capabilities + Strong and proven track record of successfully mentoring and coaching sales teams to achieve their greatest potential + Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Communications or Marketing from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College + A track record of commitment to prior employers. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (For Internal Applicants)** + Two or more years of experience in high transaction sales environment while meeting and exceeding quota + 6 or more months of hitting performance standards and net sales goals + Proficiency in Excel + Experience in mentoring, coaching, and development of peers + Demonstrated leadership capabilities **PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS AND SKILLS** + Multifamily experience helpful, but not required + Proven presentation and demonstration skills using web-based meeting applications like WebEx, Go-To-Meeting, etc. + Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and quotas in a high transaction environment + Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company **What’s in it for you?** When you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.
