Job Description:

The Mid Market Account Manager focuses on the future of Southwest’s workforce by acting as a Trusted Advisor for the New Jersey region. This role involves nurturing and growing customer relationships to establish preferred carrier partnerships with midsize businesses and organizations. The goal is to expand market share for a $10 million portfolio. The Mid Market Account Manager is a strong communicator who is strategic and comfortable working autonomously to provide effective portfolio management in complex markets and territories to drive incremental revenue for Southwest.

Due to the nature of this role, you would be required to work from our Dallas, TX Headquarters facility during business hours.

ResponsibilitiesExecute full sales cycle including qualifying, negotiating, and implementing new contracts to grow market shareBuild and executes a strategic territory plan in order to optimize revenue growth opportunities and minimize revenue riskBuild and present a compelling story to C-suite level stakeholders in order to position Southwest Airlines as a preferred partner to optimize market shareAlign contracts terms and solutions to the goals and priorities of the CustomerImplement traveler engagements that drives action that supports the goals on the contract and partnershipAnalyze customer or third party travel data and works collaboratively with the Mid Market Sales Team and Sales Performance & Insights Team to align the right solutions with each account to drive incremental salesConsult with Customers and Presents self-formulated recommendations for complex problems to solve complex problems within a travel programConduct quarterly business reviews to keep Customers accountable to terms and create forward looking action plansConsult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing supportDrive revenue growth, contract compliance, and loyalty engagement through customized strategic campaigns during contract term in collaboration with TeamRepresent Southwest Airlines and Southwest business at industry events and presents to large audiencesMay perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $74,950 per year to $83,300 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
